Aerial view of the Colorado School of Mines and downtown Golden (Jefferson County), Colorado. Shows Samuel Guggenheim Hall, the administration building with a central tower next to the assaying laboratory and powerhouse plant with a tall smokestack, Stratton Hall with Mission style parapets and old Main, a two story brick building with a gabled roof, and the Hall of Engineering. The Jefferson County Courthouse is brick with pediment and quoins. The First Presbyterian Church, on 15th (Fifteenth) Street has a square tower stained glass windows. Shows brick and wooden houses and brick commercial buildings in the center of the town. South School and Lookout Mountain are in the distance.
